It would be safe to say that my boys down at the FSDO are not gonna take it lightly on you.

#1 the 7500 code gets us controllers awake when the radar starts flashing red and the **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** beeping begins.

#2 If you were getting your CMEL and didn't know what sqwak ALT meant then your a freaking idiot and I hope they throw the book at you. What a f%cking Idiot!

Also, when I have mis-set my transponder, ATC usually says something like:

"I'm not receiving your mode C"

If I remember correctly "squawk altitude would be ATC's way of telling you to return to ALT mode after having previously told you to :

"stop altitude squawk"

give it up now, junior

thankyou all for so much abuse. i thought i might be able to get some help. just remember that when you need help i will be waiting, and YOU will recieve my wrath

Rudypilot

!. Fill out a NASA report and submit within 10 days of the event.

2. Call the AOPA and talk to one of their legal guys.

3. Write your thoughts down on the events as you remember them, but don't show your notes to the FAA.

4. Talk to an aviation attorney if the FAA tries to put a letter in your file, etc.

You know, alot of times everyone wants help with thier FAA troubles.

But if this is really true, you deserve to get violated. Because you obviously don't hold the knowledge requirements to hold your CPL.

It may sound mean, but a 709 ride could do you some good.

----thankyou all for so much abuse. i thought i might be able to get some help. just remember that when you need help i will be waiting, and YOU will recieve my wrath----

Okay man, your an idiot. If you were student pilot or something we would let it slide, but you just got your CSEL and you did this. IDIOT! I guarantee even a 10 hr student pilot wouldn't make the mistake you made. Fill out the nasa form but man, the 709 would definatly do you some good.

If you are in need of help Call Dr. Phil or Dr. Laura. If you are bragging on being stupid we will concur. If this is a joke, you are scaring us instead..

Rudy if what you said was true which I dont believe it is no way in hell anyone would trust you hauling a piece of luggage in a 172 let alone hauling passengers or valuable cargo in any kind of airplane. If you can make that kind of mistake at 270 hours who knows what else you are capable of. everyone makes mistakes but that is ridiculous

I love the way people try to "stir the pot" on this site. The scariest part of it all is that so many people take it seriously.

Case in point would be the Gulfstream post on the Regionals section a couple days ago ... Link

I mean seriously people... there are some stupid people out there, but if you actually pulled this, would you be posting it on the internet?! "...made it to the top." PINNACLE?! ;)
