Aren't you in current 1st time CBA negotiations? It makes sense for them to hold off until they know how much labor will cost. Then they can scale the rest of the enterprise accordingly to how much baby's new shoes are going to cost.

In a circumstance where a pilot group is properly staffed and properly compensated... Yes, that would set a reasonable bar to judge current (and subsequently future) pay levels.

But we're both understaffed AND underpaid. I have no knowledge as to what the outstanding folks that are negotiating for us have in mind when it comes to future pay, benefits, etc. I've heard things, but we all know what a good rumor is worth. As a MIGS I get provided with the same info as everyone else with access to the VUH.

We've got most of the preliminary bullcrap out of the way. in the next few months we'll start negotiating the real meat and potatoes of our CBA. Should be good times :bomb:
