If I may add;

First, address the person in question. It usually stops right there.

Second, if the first doesen't work and your union has a professional standards department, submit a report to them. 9 times out of ten, they can handle it without progressing any further. Be careful not to cry wolf either. If the individual in question is just grumpy, I would just let it go in one ear and right out the other. However, if you feel this individual's attitude may compromise safety and/or CRM issues sometime down the road, than you definitely have a professional and moral obligation to speak up, and Pro-Standards is the appropriate place to go.

Third, if the CP's office needs to get involved, Pro-Standards will usually be the one to set that up. I wouldn't go this far unless this was the absolute last resort AND safety is an issue. I wouldn't go here because I'm not getting enough hugs and kisses from other crewmembers.
