XL has a sure way of fit testing out If you are tall enough. It has alignment balls on the compass that if you can't adjust your seat hieght for, you can't safely fly.

As for the Phenom, those that are tall fly it by moving their legs the opposite direction from the turn much like it looks like a ski maneuver, hence why it is called the "slalom" technique. The problem comes from a tall pilot acting as the PM and not coordinating his legs on sequence to the flying pilot.
