RE: New hire F/O attrition

Be careful drawing "purely subjectively inferences" from "flat" statistics. None of us knows the individual reason a new hire F/O leaves NJA after 6 mos.

No training contract = free type rating = no penalty for "giving it a try".

So, how many guys are leaving?

In typical flightinfo fashion, this thread has gone off on several tangents. Let me reiterate the bottom line here...

If you decide to come to NetJets, you will be based out of one of five domiciles for at least the duration of the current CBA. This is the reality of the situation no matter what anyone else tells you. If however, one of the five domiciles fits into your life don't hesitate to come here. NetJets is one of the best gigs in aviation (for now anyway).

Do your research before applying. Go to the IBT 1108 New Hire Section for information. Also there are, believe it or not, some very knowledgeable NetJets pilots that frequent this board. If you PM them I'm sure most of them would be glad to help you out. I know I've talked to several people that now number among our ranks.

As soon as they conflict it will be lonely standing there by yourself.

Yeah it was lonely standing in oma, bed, teb, pbi.........

Thats right, I haven't been screwed by a union yet and I trying to keep it that way.

Man oh man, are you a knowitall for someone with 2600 hrs and limited experience. Lots of us have worked BOTH sides and can say FROM EXPERIENCE what we are telling you.
Just wait till your part 91 dream company needs to cut some money and the flight dept (you) are the first to go...high and dry.

Airlines and fractionals do the same thing......furlough.....whats the difference? Nobody is immune to it.....union or nonunion

Wow NJ furloughed? Hmmmmm Somebody forgot to tell the hiring department.
25+ years ago they did but that hardly applies. Remember though this buisness was in its infancy and they were still creating the buisness.
