Hello??? Have you guys ever heard of attrition?? Definitely a carrot to keep those poor FO's wondering should I stay or should I go..........still at least a year until Mesaba gets their contract settled and another year till they see a jet like that.......

Operated by Mesaba

Now I am not a legal expert but I would think if Bombardier posted this , there must be some copyright problems using the trademark " Mesaba Airlines". I think the plan has always been to give Mesaba a few of these jets and management is draggin their feet with talks..... could be coincidental but Mesaba stock has been on the rise.

Here is a post from the Mesaba ALPA message board:

After looking into this here is what I found. The picture is from stock photos painted on the computer in the new NWA colors.

Yes I was bored but here is how I figured this out.

Download the hi-res photo of the Shandong CRJ200 01 at the Bombardier link.

http://www.bombardier.com/en/3_0/ml/1229/32_shangdong-jpg.zip

Open this up and flip the picture so the aircraft nose is facing left. Open the NWA CRJ and compare the two side-by-side. The shadows are identical but what sealed the deal is the cockpit. The two pilots you can see inside are a perfect match.

Sorry to spoil the fun but it didn't add up.

Photoshop?
Anyone want some Kool-Aid?

Hey,
Anyone want a "Do-it-yourself Brain Surgery Kit". If you zoom in on the "operated by" until at max resolution you can see the background is slightly different around the printing. This is nothing more than advertising, or pilot kool-aid in a more portable package.
Be suspicious of wood horse, full of guys with swords.

Upon closer inspection I noticed that the outer door handle for the forward passenger door is the old type where you pull out the handle and rotate. The new CRJ's have a handle that can be operated with one hand.

This is definitely not a new CRJ, and holy cow, I really have to get a life.

Sure, it's a doctored photo. The point is it is located on the Bombardier website. I'm doubtful Bombardier would post it, unless they had a reason. Hmm, we'll see.

That's not the first "doctored" photo to show up on the Bombardier website. I downloaded a CRJ photo of one of our birds and when I looked at it real close something didn't look right. As it turns out they had pasted on the widget and "SkyWest" was in editable text.
