Back in the 70's and 80's when TWA's airplanes seemed like they were getting hijacked all the time:

TWA: Travel With Arabs

...where as Delta's solution to the Arab problem was:

Don't
Even
Let
Them
Aboard.

TWA - The Wrong Airport

TWA was one of the more memorable wrong airport landings in recent memory...

There was also a Northwest A319 or A320 that landed at the wrong field going into KRAP. As amazing as it may seem that an aircraft with the latest techonlogy could land at the wrong airport, it has and will continue to happen. I flew into JFK last night (early this morning) and got a false capture for the localizer for 22L. Luckily it was VFR when it happened.

The TWA incident didn't have the luxury of a moving map and was coming out of a procedure turn (in and out of the clouds) when the captain exclaimed "there it is" (referring to the airport of intended landing...Eagle,CO - I believe). Convinced that their was a problem with their instruments the crew proceeded with the approach and landing at a field that was about 20 miles from Eagle.

OK...back on the subject at hand...

I thought TED stood for "Total Economic Disaster"....

They should have just added and R and made it TERD...

Try this

I propose that we start a new LCC dedicated to transvestites. Call it Transvestine Airways.....slogan could be "Either Way With TVA"
