lets remember, its the SKYW pilots that are trying to get the contracts to shut down XJT. and not SKWY Inc.
the pilots sit around all night looking to screw over all the other carriers pilots and ruin lives.
Next i hear, its REPUBLIC, SHUTTLE, AIR CANADA, QUANTAS...damn SKYW pilots.....what are they thinking??.
most of you people are loosers
just an observation

Oh I see...so it's pilots and not management that puts these deals together.

I think it only counts as "scab" work when the airline flying the routes is a non-union carrier. If a union carrier came in and took their aircraft and routes and kicked their guys on the streets, it would not be considered "scab" work. All's fair as long as your paying your 2+%.

I don't think that is correct.

And its 1.95% and the effective dues rate (if you actually pay dues) could be much lower.

Well here it is about 17 days after I started this thread, and now I am finally sober.

I take back the nasty things I said in the begining, I just hope this works out in the end for everyone.

I would like to propose that for every RJ you guys at SkyW take of ours, you have to do a one for one swap of our Flight Attendants for yours!!!

Cheers.

No, but it's exactly how all the ALPA chest-thumper's on here think. And the 2+% is a rip on ALPA trying to grab from your 401k now.

This should be "you're", as in "as long as you are paying your 2+%".

Does this mean you need a lesson in grammar, too? Talk about not getting it.

Game on, son. Now I'm going to bother you even more than before. Actually, as Stewie put it once, "Hey big man, turn around. Oh, you can't hear me now? I was going to watch the movie, but forget it. For the next 5 hours, you're my b!tch." Unfortunately for you, it'll be much longer than 5 hours. Move along now and resume your ALPA bashing. It is odd how a dispatcher bashes ALPA so much.

I don't think it is so much "ALPA bashing" as it is just keeping the union chest-thumpers on FI honest. It does often seem like the consensus amongst the ALPA supporters on the regional forum is "All's fair as long as you're paying your 2%...you are free to screw over any pilot group as long as your paying dues".

What I find hilarious is going over and reading the Majors forum...where those guys seem that they would give their left nut to decertify ALPA for what they perceive as ALPA's uselessness.

Here's what it comes down to. There's maybe 3-5 ALPA chest thumpers here. And you do a great job of sounding like a bunch of 19-year-old fratboys and run it so hard into the ground...it makes for fun argument to point out where you sound hypocritical.

I'm not anti-ALPA...never have been. I'm anti-
hypocrisy, anti-idiocy, and anti-misinformation...and the chest thumpers are masters of all three.

Yesssssss. This is more like it. I was worried the SkyWest bashing and ALPO bashing was done. Now lets turn it back up a notch.

I'm pretty sure SkyWest is responsible for global warming AND the earthquakes in China.

Alpa takes kids lunch money and beats them up after school while defending their right to be 18 and still in 6th grade.

I'm by no means an ALPA chest-thumper. An extreme far cry from it, actually. I'm not exactly anti-ALPA, though, either. I'm with Walt.....anti-hypocrisy, anti-idiocy, and anti-misinformation. Yup, it's mostly the chest-thumpers, but others, also. I have no time or tolerance in my life for stupidity or ignorance. Do your job or go home, for the customers paying your paycheck are sitting behind that door. Real simple. Must be the ex-military in me.

This board is definitely entertaining, whether you're drunk or sober. There's no doubt about that. I tend to stay off of it when I'm at home, for I'd rather spend the time with my wife and kids than the kids on here. It's amazing how many college educated individuals are on here and have no grammatical skills at all.

My real point was how interesting it was that one of the true Skywest Anti-ALPA drivers is a Dispatcher who has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. You finally get the satire.

P.S. It's SkyWest, with a capitol W. I do not work for the Australian airline, Skywest.
