beech1900kid said:Telex 850 ANR won't work in the CRJ unless you leave the mic hot. It's really irritating to both pilots at cruise with that hiss in the background from a hot mic. Once you switch the mic off, the ANR loses power and the jet noise comes back. Frustrating!
ClubORD said:Use the 750's but go to Radio Shack and get a pair of replacement earpieces. Not the foam ones that come with the set but they make a soft, "pleather" covers as well. It makes a world of difference and only costs like 7-8 bucks.

The best thing for a Mo-fo to do is try out a number of headsets and then make a decision based on your experience. Some people swear by headsets I can't stand. Whatever works for you is best. I happen to like my Sennheisers very much. Even with dead batteries, it works great in the CRJ. In my opinion, you really need a bit of ear cup to cut out the wind (and recirc and display fans on the 700 sound like a tornado!!) noise.
