That's not true. The SIA that AirTran pilots voted for, in overwhelming numbers (against the recommendation of people like me and every member of the negotiating committee), included the ability for Southwest management to decide what aircraft, seat, and base would get transition slots first.

The deal was awful and SWA management is scum. But the pilots caved and voted for it, so that's where the blame ultimately lies.

Just looked on APC for the first time with your link--The weird thing is that he's already up to 54 posts using my FI screen name. I glanced at a few and saw that all he did for one post, was to copy verbatim something I had written in response to Flopgut, and posted it over there. It didn't even make any sense to the thread.

His obsession with me (and hot dogs) borders on the pathological. I wonder if he's really even a pilot.

All I do is occasionally respond to his stupidity. He's the one who keeps bringing me up, even when I haven't posted in a while (not to mention his odd fixation on hot dogs). Hell, he actually co-opted my screen name over on APC and made (so far) nearly 60 posts pretending to be me. I can't tell if he just has a thing for me, or if he actually wants to be me. Either way, he clearly needs professional help.
