Oh, snap!

Yes, that's the problem. Those nasty auto throttles. You know this new fangled technology that ALL the other airlines use is wrong. Why when I'm on mission status I never use auto throttles, no computer can fly as good as me. Did you notice my ring, I was at the zoo from 80 to 84. When we get our new contract, I'm not going to vote yes unless we get.... Oh look a two day just popped up in open time, that will put me at 142 for the month.

So Fletch, I guess you are PHX based. You just described SO MANY there it is not funny!

Phred

"Maintain 250 knots"..... I can see the confusion there. Hopefully ATL tracon can find a way of saying that so it's a little clearer. Btw did I tell you I made 300 g's last year and I have two boats. Look at my academy ring, my flight suit is on the wall at the training center. You can't look directly at it, it will burn your eyes peasant.

How do your Capts manage it?

Omg. This thread is hilarious. I flew with a RSW who did this and would not listen to me until ATC asked if the previous controller slowed us to 180. Whoopsie.

Don't you think that using autothrottles would help the situation by maintaining the proper airspeed?

Exactly the point, except for the slower ones on here. Apparently they need auto throttles for the brain. The point was I've seen some interesting speed control when in the classic, I didn't say it was from the Trannies, you clowns implied it. The original response was to the issue of +/- 10kts, and for some that have to manually control the thrust it can be an issue. Boy, some of you guys are wound WAY TOO TIGHT.

Oh, snap!

Step away from your addiction doughboy, you don't fly for an airline anymore. Whats the problem, too much free time at Dad's business?

Hate to break it to ya, Chief, but I don't think the memo was intended for the former Trannies . . . . although, it might have been written by one. :D

Sorry Ty, maybe the commute is affecting your brain cells. You usually don't get as stupid as the other minions on here.
