You got it all wrong. I'm planning on working at Southwest when I retire. That is of course, if oil goes way down (since the hedges are expiring) and they get their act together as far as taking care of their jets go. Safety if pretty huge to me.

Last time I checked, it was a free country, so I will continue to post and much to your dismay, I will soon be working at Southwest.

And don't worry about my hours. I hear SWA doesn't even check up on military guys log books anyway. I'll make the hours work.

One of my best friends ever is a check airman, and been told that he would be at least an asst chief at a DEN domocile (if it opens up). I have contacts with some pretty influential people. I have over 20 guys that said they'd hook me up to include a couple check airmen. I know a guy on the interview panel. And I know an interview prepper that has never not got someone hired. I'd give myself about a 99% chance. It's about a done deal. Sorry man...but it's probably going to happen.
