SWA scheduling question

You suck. You must not commute. I fly over 120 a month on average...most of it the hard way. I don't work more than 14 a month though, normally.


Yeah, I figure my commute has cost me between $30-$50k a year for the last 10 years. Having the flexibility to drop everything and being available to run to the airport on short notice pays dividends. Not to mention the outright hassle of the commute itself.

I always pack my board with the highest paying trips I can, and always strive for no more than 4 commutes per month, with 3 or 4 days off between. These parameters usually yield around 110 to 115. Once in a while, I can get in to the 120s, but I have to work an extra day or 2, usually added to the front or back of a 3 day.

4 more years and my youngest is out of HS and I am moving to a domicile.
 
I've averaged 122 tfp/mo and 15-16 days off/mo since I've been here. (5 years) Some months have been much higher but never less than 118 tfp. Some months I block 90+, some months less than 60.

80% F/O in a pretty senior base.
