is it in order of pool date or interview date? Is the Jan. 9 class already removed?

My guess is interview date. Unless their system is extrememly automated, I can't see them editing the pool distro list every time someone calls in with a type completion date.

Of course this theory is most beneficial to me, so that's why I'm going with it!

I would bet this is the pool order...All the guys I interviewed with are next to me on the list, and A friend of mine got his type a few days later and the times line up. The question is for the 9 Jan class--are you guys still on this list???

It's interview date if you had the type on that day. If not, you are placed in line when you show them that you have the type rating. Having the type before the interview is really gonna pay off for some of you. Be patient and enjoy the holidays. Who knows what the new year will bring?

The list is in order of pool date, not interview date. A buddy interviewed before me and typed later, so he is behind me on the list.

I believe it's just an honest mistake, but it's a pretty big mistake.

I'm over it...it doesn't really affect me. I work at FedEx and am not going anywhere. However, I know a few people in the pool who are at other places. In some cases, those airlines knew about the fact the guy was in the pool, but in other cases they did not. How would you like to be going on a 6 month probationary check at a carrier (say CAL or DAL) right after someone found out you'd been in the SWA pool all along? I think most pilots--even the most proud of their comany--understand this is a pragmatic game and you need to do what you must to protect your career while you earn to put bread on the table. Then again--I can also see how at some companies someone might get "uncomfortable" with that info out there in public, and perhaps some smaller picture folks might in fact put some pressure on that person.

I got no dog in the fight--I just hope nobody gets burned.

I remember you from another "debate." You spend way too much time looking over your shoulder. Bad childhood or something? Tell you buddies not to F-up the sim at 6mos and there should not be a problem.

your time would be better spent doing something to get a better contract and halting the erosion at SWA.
