So I talked to the PD today, if you are a Aug 14 poolie, then you are 6 classes away after the June class.

My Guess is 150-200. I am reported as 4 classes out after the June 4 class...I jumped in August 5th...so about 100 till me...then tack on the August interviews.....

Received the call for the 5-28 class. She mentioned only the June 4th class. But I have heard they are gearing up new hiring training while the sims are available before RNP training begins. Hang in there, it will be worth it.

Heard from a very reliable source today. Pool to be emptied by Sep. Interviewing by Nov. Seven more airplanes on the property than planned for this year.

If PD likes to have around 100 poolies, if the pool drains out in Sep, wouldn't they need to interview prior to that, so that they could keep 100 in the pool still? just an optimistic question..

Reliable source? PD, CP, or cleaning crew? Emptied by Sept? 200 @ 24 per class would mean 8 ish classes after May? With 7 more planes, what is the 2008 total hired #? This is all good news as I await a chance to interview.

Just spoke with Sandy. Final calls for the 28 May class should be going out today. Calls for the June 4 class will start soon. My July 16 pool date puts me in the 2nd class after June 4.

She said there is talk that these unexpected May and June classes may replace the classes forecasted for August and Sept. If that’s the case, there may be a long waiting period after the June classL

Of course this will all change tomorrow…

I wouldn't be surprised if you're in class late June or early July. I was hired last fall thinking I was at the end of a hiring wave, but now feel like we might just be in the middle of one now. We'll see, but I'd bet we'll grow much more than expected for 08-09. Congratulations in advance!

"The talk in Dallas is that the Training Center has been asked if they could run a new hire class each week for 2 weeks with 1 week off then 2 weeks etc, for the remainder of the year.

No its LBB so it can be a base. Then half of our crews wont need to spend every night in LBB. Especially after flying 6-8 legs.
