Come on Scope. We all know Song will furlough long before SWA. Your boy Genital sure does look like a turd. All this international rah rah this time last year...how's that going for you all?

How much more pulling back can Song do before they have to let some guys go? Things look really bad over there.

Did you update that app with volaris or westjet?
Furlough's just around the corner rookie!:D
At least when you paid for your job, you bought yourself a back up plan!

can't wait till a swa guy thinks its a nascar race and is taxing at 100kts on Alpha, meanwhile he gets to the gate and 4 jack booted troopers are busting him for speeding.

You're right. Delta management has a history of blowing money faster than you can go throught the boy's choir!

Your mom was unavailable to help out. She was busy entertaining (some real cowboys) the Dallas Mavericks. Maybe next time, eh?

Thanks for the laugh $h!t brick! I think of you every 5 and 20th!
Delta and NW should be the ones to talk about scope and RJ's and codeshare (ha ha ha )

Conditions permitting I drive it like I stole it. Time is money and we need it. You come try to "jack boot" my jet and you'll get a Gup boot up your ass.

You haven't dealt with a Statie in the commonwealth. :)

I will.... or should I say he'll deal with me! I'm following my company FOM, which is approved by the FAA. Your local yocal can kiss my arse.

Why the 5th and 20th? Is that when the payments go out for the pay for training type?
Or is that when you get down on bended knee to pay the bills?
Either way. Get that app into volaris and westjet right away. That furlough is coming quick newbie!

I am sure you guys are aware, but his speeding comment is serious. They will actually shoot radar on the taxiways... I would not have believed it if I had not seen it.

"Dude, is that a speed trap... on... alpha?!?!... WTF over!"

Guppy just doesn't understand he's a guest in the commonwealth.

Burbank.

Midway.

Great plan.

GP

Pup,

Burbank was a wakeup call for pushing. Always worked in the past. Until it didn't. No excuse for that one. I don't have a defense for them.

Midway was an accident and really tourqes me off when guys poke fun at it. Those two guys flew a perfect approach. The ATIS, tower given winds and braking action were considered and entered into our onboard performace computer. The box said they were legal to land so they did. They landed in the touchdown zone on speed and the jet wouldn't stop. Period. I would go to bat for those guys ANY day and it would/could/should have been you or I on that approach. We don't get paid to divert when the book and data tell us it's legal. We get paid to consider the conditions and make a decision. Those guys even emailed dispatch to make sure pireps and other data was correct.

Feel free to give me crap for taxiing 30 knots. I don't care and actually chuckle when I taxi behind United or American and wonder aloud how they can actually taxi at 8 knots without riding the brakes. If Boston has a speed limit on their taxiways then I will abide but if not then look out for the Blue Blur cause I've got a hot date!

Poking fun. Hardly! Keep telling yourself that. I'm sure it helps you sleep better.

I'm sure your man can wait another 5 minutes in the interest of safety. But then again, you clowns aren't really known for safety.
So, for you and your date, "bottoms up."

Police officers on the ramp at Logan shoot radar at aircraft to detect speed? And then issue citations? Does anyone have a reference or hyperlink where I can read more about this? It wouldn't surprise me about Boston. After all, they did legalize Marijuana up to 2 oz. with a small fine.

Scope,

Your hatred for one airline makes everything out of your mouth questionable.

You are way to slanted for any meaningful discussion.

Ya think?!? The only reason I don't ignore scope is because every time I read his posts I feel that much better about my education.

I used to work the ramp for Delta in BOS and flew out of there a lot. They dont clock airplanes....catch me if you can......They really go after the rampies for speeding and other things....but watch them they will cut you off in a belt loader and give you the bird.....

By the way if you want some fun call out the staties with a drunk and disorderly...its like watching UFC on the plane. They will kick some arse..

What's wrong with taxiing at 30 knots? It is approved in our FOM up to 30 as well...as long as conditions permit.

I do wonder about the decision to go into BOS though...the T/O delays when i used to fly in there were horrible, and that was on a clear and a million day. It seems like they have been choosing to go into heavy delay airports lately as they expand service...SFO, LGA, BOS etc...

We have been losing traffic to BOS due to the completion of the big dig...look at MHT and PVD and you will see them go down as BOS goes up

And because you drive like you just stole it, things like this will continue to happen!

Southwest planes touch on ground in San Diego
Thursday March 5, 9:36 pm ET Southwest planes touch as jet leaves gate in San Diego; no injuries reported
SAN DIEGO (AP) -- A Southwest Airlines jet's wingtip clipped the tail end of another Southwest plane as it left its gate Thursday.
No one was injured when the Boeing 737s touched on the ground around 3:45 p.m. PST at San Diego's Lindbergh Field, said Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Both planes were taken out of service and customers were moved to other aircraft, said Southwest spokeswoman Whitney Eichinger.
The plane that left the gate was headed for San Francisco International Airport. The plane that was hit in its gate was destined for Kansas City International Airport.
The San Francisco-bound plane was not under the direction of the FAA as the pilot left the gate, Gregor said.

Scope you are an idiot....since you do not work here you have nothing to say...the plane was being pushed back when it ran into the other tail....last time I checked the tug drive has the responsibility to not hit other aircraft....dumba$$
