In my squadron all 32 pilots were typed in the 757, but only one pilot was responsible for the safe completion of the mission. He was the Captain. He was as far as FAR part one was concerned the PIC. We all took turn flying in the left seat and we all logged PIC time but when you break out your time for SWA do not include that time unless you were the Captain, responsible for the aircraft and mission. We never switched who was captain on a mission but we each took turns being captain on various missions. Hope this helps.
