you know it's funny that the note on the swapa site only mentions them having spoken with psa and nothing about pdt. oh wait, it's not funny, our management literally told us that you all had too much going on to be troubled.... god i hate that office in salisbury. I'm glad PSA is at least making the attempt

to ALL that private messaged me, THANK YOU for the support. Please understand that the first this was brought to "the tech's" attention was this past wed. (2/25). I can not discuss the specifics of the fix and the parties involved on this public board, but want you to know we ARE trying to fix it. I will let you know when the fix is pushed out.

Could anyone at Southwest please get in touch with your jumpseat coordinator and help us out? We need help getting in touch with him and getting an update as to when your jumpseat will be available to us again. Here is the problem.

Last fall southwest updated the software they use on their computers at the gate. When the agent goes into the southwest CASS section of website the agent can only enter in 7 characters for an employee number. PSA and Piedmont have 8 characters in our employee numbers and this makes it impossible for a gate agent to check our information in CASS.

On a side note. Many of the gate agents are under the impression that if they can't clear us in CASS then they can't let us ride in the back if there is in open seat. Some fellow pilots have tried to explain to them that CASS is only for the cockpit jumpseat and that we still have reciprocal agreements for travel in the cabin, you can imagine how well this goes over when you tell the gate agent she doesn't know what she's talking about.

Anyways, can anyone please help? It's becoming a problem for some guys here and it's not really fair that you can ride on us and we can't ride on you, this has been going on for nearly 6 months.

Thank you

Maybe you were pulled off their list and nobody was told about it and they went ahead and "fixed the glitch". "We just let these things work themselves out naturally". JK sorry just saw an opportunity for a little office space there

Just to pass this along one of the messages I saw on a facebook page had this info from a PSA Pilot

CASS NOW WORKS ON SWA: 012345js and use US Airways for the airline
