Word I got from a reliable source is that interviews would continue 4 days / week, 3 weeks/month, for the indefinite future. There may be "waves" of calls for the interviews, but the calls are not done.
Very interesting looking at who's gotten called so far. Looks like the magic turbine PIC number is over 2000. Outside of that one statistic, those getting called don't have "numbers" (original app date, total time, 121 exp, type, etc.) as "good" as many I know who haven't gotten called yet.
Original app date may not mean all that much. My XO got the invite to a March 17th interview. He had no app in prior to Jan 12th. But he does have the 737-type.
I read earlier where another guy got called with an original app date of 2001, but no 737-type. Go figure.
With the Military conversion (rounded to nearest 5):
Total 3600
Last 36 months 1830
Turboprop PIC/Military PIC 2275
Total Turboprop 3470
Mil SIC 1200
Civ PIC 95
Civ SIC 30
T-34C 1980 (PIC/Instructor/Standardization Instructor 1730)
P-3/EP-3 1390 (PIC 545)
Question:
Since your PIC and SIC time (Mil & Civ) add up to exactly 3600, does that mean that you counted student time from flight school as SIC? Or did you not include any student time in your total hours? I know that SIC time probably doesn't count for much, but I'm just curious, as I have always counted student (dual) time in T-34, T-2, T-45, and F/A-18 as just that: dual received. I never counted those hours as SIC, since those particular training-command aircraft are single-piloted, as opposed to a C-12, P-3, or E-2/C-2, for example.
