Judging by the hour of the posts, the horrendous spelling errors, and just the outright ridiculousness of what he/she is saying, I'd say there was alcohol involved.

Repeat after me: I will not drink and post, I will not drink and post, I will not drink and post... ;)

In all seriousness, no one on this side of the fence believes a d*mn word you're saying. Seriously? Staple us? Get rid of all the 717's (which are more cost-efficient at their current lease prices than any of your 737's and, therefore, will make more money per ASM)? Dump all the 717 pilots? Really? No,,, really?

I've been saying all along it should be fair; what you're proposing, however, ain't it, and the Citrus folks aren't buying the fear mongering that's being pedaled here. As others have said... nothing to see here. Next subject.

Oh this is rich......

Let me get this straight we are bitter because we wont give up everything the citrus guys want and take nothing for ourselves ??WTFO
Well, you did have to pay for training, the Citrus guys did not.

They are getting a world class deal right now but they want more and if they get more we get nothing and we should not be bitter ???
World class by who's standards? Yours?

the citrus guys should be thankful they are getting what they are getting and not be bitter. Or is it all about making them happy at all cost ???
Judging by the posts here, it looks like most Citrus guys are sitting idly while the southwest skirts are all up in arms. You should be, you put out a lot of money for that job, and they didn't have to.

you tell me why giving up seniority to make them happy should make me not bitter ??? the fact that we are even talking about a SLI is BS unless it is a staple for them, even with a staple they will be making way more money than they were at AT.

Even with a staple you would still be a bitter southwest pay for training troll.

^^^^^^^^^The definition of pompous^^^^^^^^^
So you bought your job. The Air Tran guys didn't. I know that makes you pompous and bitter, get over it.

Sorry Scope. I didn't buy my job. And it's a great company to work for, so I'm in no way bitter. I like going to work everyday and getting compensated very, very well for something I love doing. Most all the employees I work with feel the same way. Its amazing.

I just don't see that kind of attitude at any of the legacies. The sham bankrupticies gutted that kind of place to work. Very sad.

Sorry if your angry with that.

I think he was talking about you specifically.

Actually, the ValuJet guys DID buy their jobs.
Many AirTran pilots came from CommutAir and Gulfstream, which means they bought those jobs.

And still many other AirTran pilots bought 737 types...trying to get hired at SWA.

He doesn't like it when you use logic and reason, blows a hole in his mantra.

He should focus more of his time trying to put the RJ genie back in the bottle.

When I think of PFT I think of Flight Safety charging 12,000 dollars to broke flight instructors with student loans for a turboprop job that paid 13-18 bucks an hour (no type rating given). SWA is not the first thing I think of when I think of PFT.

L. Star, not all of us from CommutAir had to do that. I turned down CoEx because of PFT. Picked up alot of good experience working for that airline and got to work with some great people, some of of whom I still get to see in the crewroom (when I'm not deployed :O).

Fence the ops as long as it takes. I'll sign the SWAPA waivers. SWA guys can keep their pay, QOL and seniority. Citrus can keep their pay, QOL and seniority. It's a win/win. Everyone is happy.

Kind of like when a southwest guy claims he didn't pft.....

You mean like the SLI bottle you're about to sit on courtesy of Air Tran, you know the guys who got a southwest # without paying for it......

Your really have no idea what you are talking about, and I think people are realizing that more and more pretty much with every post.

Hope your not having to commute on those hundreds of RJ's..enjoy them!

Haha!

After my last three rants you come to the argument with "we had to pay for training " WTFO......you citrus vato's pay for training every day you show up to fly your green and white RJ's

Southwest is not buying your farm team Guadalupe holdings is. You guys dont like what is coming your way so you have all closed your eyes and are holding hands praying the ALPA job killing machine will save your citrus bacon and screw over the Southwest guys for you, wont happen, you guys will be fenced off for years if that is what it takes for you to take a deal from us or be sent packing along with your RJ's

Take the staple and start cashing the pay checks stop holding out for what your not yours.

and please dont discount my words for spelling when I get on a rant I am not stopping for spell check..........you get my point spelled right or not and its spot on and you know it........STAPLE STAPLE STAPLE

LOL... mkay. Just trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, buddy.

If you want to really get people to start thinking in a different way, you have to do it in a way that doesn't get you on their ignore list from the get-go. Screaming STAPLE at them may not necessarily be the best way to go about it.

Just a thought... ;)

I dont think there will be any changing of minds. The ALPA koolaid has flowed for too long and and the Southwest guys just wont roll over and give more to the citrus guys after what they are already getting. If the citrus guys get anymore that they already are getting we end up with nothing ?? how's that a deal for us ?? When this gets to arbitration the judge is not gong to give citrus more on top of the great deal they are getting now.

And to the Delta pros that are lurking we will see you in ATL so bring your A game and remember the ALPA shuffle on the taxi way only slows us all down so get ready to pick up the pace or move over....
