I cant wait to see the citrus guys accept whatever outcome is produced when it doesnt work out the way ALPA said it would. It all sounds so nice and I am sure the citrus guys will just take what the arbitrator says and come over here without a fight. You know as well as I do that unless the Southwest guys give up a bunch of seniority and take nothing for the deal the citrus guys will fight like the US Air tools did. They should take the staple and be thankful for the pay raise and all else they are getting, what are we getting ??? I tell you what we are getting for the most part a bunch of guys that will complain that they were unable to cheat a Southwest guy out of his seniority.

If Delta gets the citrus RJ's it means Southwest wont have to take the pilots and then we are taking less than 49% of the airline thus Bond Makaskill wont be a player. I think that will be one of several hammers that GK will have over the citrus MEC when they decide to not play nice with SWAPA and I am sure they are already planning to not play nice with SWAPA. I believe the foot dragging and game playing has already started, fueled most likely by their senior guys that find the big pay raise, quality of life improvements, better career expectations ect ect ect ect not enough. They wont rest or agree to anything until they get to cheat a Southwest guy or of his or her seniority. I think the arbitrator will see that the citrus guys are getting plenty and will not allow our guys to be cheated out of our seniority. Could take years I hope

Let me get this straight we are bitter because we wont give up everything the citrus guys want and take nothing for ourselves ??WTFO They are getting a world class deal right now but they want more and if they get more we get nothing and we should not be bitter ??? the citrus guys should be thankful they are getting what they are getting and not be bitter. Since you are "new" to this board, you are a little late in the game with your complaints, all of the stuff you are spouting off about has been covered ad nauseam. I've noticed that most of the SWA fire breathers like you have followed the Kübler-Ross model or 5 stages of grief. You are obviously on Stage 2 which is anger. Check back with us when you get to Stage 5 which is acceptance. Good luck!

Judging by the posts here, it looks like most Citrus guys are sitting idly while the southwest skirts are all up in arms. You should be, you put out a lot of money for that job, and they didn't have to.

Sorry Scope. I didn't buy my job. And it's a great company to work for, so I'm in no way bitter. I like going to work everyday and getting compensated very, very well for something I love doing. Most all the employees I work with feel the same way. Its amazing.

I just don't see that kind of attitude at any of the legacies. The sham bankrupticies gutted that kind of place to work. Very sad.

Actually, the ValuJet guys DID buy their jobs.
Many AirTran pilots came from CommutAir and Gulfstream, which means they bought those jobs.

And still many other AirTran pilots bought 737 types...trying to get hired at SWA.

When I think of PFT I think of Flight Safety charging 12,000 dollars to broke flight instructors with student loans for a turboprop job that paid 13-18 bucks an hour (no type rating given). SWA is not the first thing I think of when I think of PFT.

L. Star, not all of us from CommutAir had to do that. I turned down CoEx because of PFT. Picked up alot of good experience working for that airline and got to work with some great people, some of of whom I still get to see in the crewroom (when I'm not deployed :O).
