You're one up on me. All I have in my neighborhood are white guys, frolicking children and Porsches.

Mind PM'ing me some of your cutting room floor trash to use?

Gup

Nothing escapes the fence .... Not even the poetry of Tyrone beating De Shawn over rock.

:D

You think this sappy piece of crap deserves it's own thread? Don't drag both groups into your fantasy.

As an outside observer, it's the trannies here on FI that give you guys a bad name. I haven't read anything unreasonable from the Southwest pilots. You trannies just hit the frickin lottery. Unless you screw the pooch with your greed!

If/when it is all said and done, FL guys should be respectful while on the compound. Walk with your head down, don't look anybody in the eyes, don't speak unless you are spoken to, walk 3 paces behind any original SWA folks, and above all.....feel grateful that SWA saved us and granted us the ultimate opportunity to be in the presence of Gods.

I should have posted this under a new topic earlier, so I apologize for those of you that might have read this twice, now three times. I am new to this board and just figuring things out.

It should not take long to figure out what this board is about.

We're just waiting until the AIP is officially released. Then we're going to call each other all kinds of names, make threats and basically offend each other with every post. It's gonna be like 9/28/2010 all over again only worse. Check back tomorrow night!

Like Gary says - "It's ON!"

Gup

From what I am hearing I think we r all going to be pissed off about it which is a good sign

Why should even one single SWA pilot be pissed? They busted their butts to get to SWA. AirTran supposedly would hire anyone who could fog a mirror.

I heard a story about a clueless guy with a very bad attitude that couldn't get hired anywhere. Got turned down twice at Southwest and every other airline where he interviewed. Finally AirTran picked him up. He's a captain there now and could be a Southwest captain soon.

Makes you want to vomit. Life isn't fair though.

Way wrong.......my interview group had 10 they hired 3.....flame on!

Yeah but look at Lear70. He got turned down by Southwest three times but easily got on at AirTran. Then he used to get on flightinfo and beg to be stapled to SWA. He apparently wanted to be a Southwest pilot so bad but couldn't. Now all of the sudden he pretends that a staple isn't good enough.
Face it, a staple would easily pass a vote at Trannie.

We also have a mix of pilots ranging from commuter pilots, West point grads, Air Force Grads, TWA, Midwest, .....just flew with an ex B1-bomber pilot. Most of these guys can fog a mirror...sorry to disappoint.

When you start your arguement with "yeah but".......that says enough for me

Not that I really want to give any more attention to bob's buffoonery but I feel I must comment. I am extremely proud to call pilots with many varying backgrounds my fellow colleagues at Airtran. Among them include: Vice Presidential pilots, a thunderbird pilot, former legacy wide-body international captains, pilots from every branch of military who combined have tens of thousands of hours flying over hostile territory in both fighters and
heavies, regional pilots who have spent years flying in the most demanding flying environments in the CONUS, military test pilots, and astronauts.

I will put Airtran pilots up against those of ANY airline in the world. I'm pretty sure we have plenty of pilots who can do more than just fog up a mirror - but then bob already knows that, don't you flamer bob?

Who is the astronaut at AAI?:laugh:

AAI has very few military pilots as a percentage of the total.

I didn't say that AirTran pilots weren't any good or qualified. I said that AirTran pretty much hired anybody that they could. Much harder to get in at SWA.

Why wouldn't AirTran hire an AirForce One pilot if he applied there? I'm sure they would. It's just that not many pilots like that applied there. AT was always considered a stepping stone job due to the lousy pay and qol.

Don't be so defensive.

I interviewed 3 times? Who knew? Lolol. It's alright Bob. I know you were hired on the first attempt. Good for you. But you're going to have to quit with your endless infatuation with me. It just won't work between us. I'm sorry.

:D

Don't let bob or vixen speak for any swa pilot other than themself.
That said, it's an argument I've made here and to my rep. Swa is a more difficult and time consuming, on AVERAGE, job to get. the extra years it takes directly relates to seniority, and it isn't a personal dig on anyone's abilities. None of us have anything on my old flying mates in the 1900. So let's put the skill measuring contest to bed. We have all done what we have done to put us in our current positions. I couldve gone to Stanford law. And I truly know I would have done well. I didn't, however, so I don't brag about what I could have done. I do defend what I have done, however. And swa took years longer to achieve.

this is quite possibly the biggest crock of sh!t I've ever seen posted in 10 years on this board.

Um.....
Thx?
Apologies. The time for debate and dick measuring is over. Now it's just a personal yes or no for each- IF your MEC allows you to.
