So what's the story with hiring at Spirit, are they done for awhile?

What are the trips like out of dtw?

If you're curious about DTW because you don't want to commute, then it's really the wrong question. For now at least, DTW is a very senior base, and for a new hire it would likely be a couple years to bid into the DTW domicile. The junior base now is ACY, but it seems new hires are moving to FLL fairly quickly. It can change though, and bases can go away all together too, so you can't really count on any particular domicile. But the flying out of all 3 domiciles is great for the most part.
