Spirit question

I hear your pain, Wrigley! I had about 11 months in the Left Seat at Comair for a whopping almost 400TPIC. I'm glad to have upgraded to get the type and PIC, but the downgrade sure shot my chances at all these places that demand 1000TPIC regardless if you have a bazillion SIC 121 Jet!! I'm hoping to get some bites on some internal recs at a few places that aren't set on the 1K TPIC. Good Luck!! We sure need it, huh?!

You said it. At least you don't have to somehow find 2-4 grand to buy a ME piston ATP just to be eligible to apply to most places. Good luck buddy.

Wow. Not my experience. I have yet to work more than 30-60% ever. Last month was under 50%.

Maybe for future (scheduled) interviews, but not this past week. Mix of RJ CAs with lots of PIC and a couple of IFL guys.

Anyone get a call? I put in yesterday, and meet the requirements of "competitive" except I am still 12 credits shy of my degree, but I am currently enrolled and it will be done on 2011. Not sure if that will mean a no go here.

You don't need an education to fly for Spirit. Just a willingness to work for peanuts and continue to be the lowest paid Airbus pilot out there. They would rather have an uneducated pilot anyway, this way they can continue to violate the contract and you won't understand why. It's ok though cause we got a "slick" reserve system, and 4 days off.
