I applied the other night and quickly recived an email confirming my application. I am really hoping to hear from them.

I've heard that they are interviewing people this wednesday. I don't know how many or what their qualifications are. Any insight would be appreciated.

I got word today that there interviewing wide body guys and people from air jamaica....take it for what its worth.

Anyone get a call? I put in yesterday, and meet the requirements of "competitive" except I am still 12 credits shy of my degree, but I am currently enrolled and it will be done on 2011. Not sure if that will mean a no go here.

You don't need an education to fly for Spirit. Just a willingness to work for peanuts and continue to be the lowest paid Airbus pilot out there. They would rather have an uneducated pilot anyway, this way they can continue to violate the contract and you won't understand why. It's ok though cause we got a "slick" reserve system, and 4 days off.
