I just saw the line it was pretty impressive...the three groups seemed to be covering the three doors at terminal 4, where the most traffic in and out of the building is...you know by the doors.

asked a reltive going through the airport today to look at them to see what was going on and he said they were just standing in 3 seperate groups just milling around talking....said he did not see any real picket signs or information. what gives?

The FLL airport authorities didn't allow actual marching up and down the terminal. We were allowed several groups of 4 pilots in different "zones" to hold up our signs and make our messages get across. We had a very good pilot turnout, with the press showing up, filming and taking pictures. Interviews were also given. It really started to get organized after 10:30.
Thanks for the Delta and Pinnacle guys that showed up to show us support.

Could the Spirit MEC please call the NPA and let them know how things should be done???

You know whats amazing are the dildoes within our company (usually the senior captains that think of themselves and don't want their gravy train to end)that continue to trash our MEC any chance they get on our company board. They claim our MEC is being way to aggresive. I think these pukes would rather bend over!

What do you expect? As a retention tool, many of these guys were hired during a time when the emphasis at NK was in selecting individuals who were largely unsuitable for career progression beyond NK. Re-visit the first MD-80 high altitude stall event for further confirmation.

The Delta guy was there making sure that the 2mil ALPA gave us last year is being used for the right reasons. He's called an SOB. Call your SPC chair and get the straight scoop.
