I guess they mean it when they want to be ULTRA low cost.

Announced that they will be charging $10.00 for checked bag and $1.00 for a Coke.

I'll take the aqua-freea, please.

Who else charges for checked bags these days? Do some research.... might surprise you.
 
Actually, I'm not complaining, just reporting what I saw on the browser this morning. I understand it can be a bit of a profit center to charge, but what happens, IMO, is more people just try to cram more and more into the overheads, and that just slows down the loading and unloading process a lot. I'm sure you have a lot more experiance in the operational side of this than I.
Me, I could travel out of a paper bag, but others,, well, they sure don't try that "size-wize" thingy at the airport.

But, I think charging a buck for a coke is a bit foolish. Will the TP be next? I mean, what goes in, will go out! :)

actually since no cash is accepted onboard, only credit cards. I think they are going to put a credit card reader attached to the lav doors. You must swipe your credit card to get in.;)
 
tokens weigh too much...they will just put a credit card swipe device at the door
