Au contraire. The Clinton White House did indeed go after Bin Laden and it was much more than the misdirected cruise missles. Bin Laden was the number one target for US intelligence in Clinton's terms. It is popular for the dittoheads, the Hannity's etc to superficially say that he did nothing......far from the truth. It is the Bush administration that ignored warnings that terrorists were planning on using airplanes as missles. Clinton's admin provided all of the material that stated that there was going to a massive attack on the passdown to the new admin. What did Bush do? Nothing. Before 9-11, Bush even complained that the daily intel involved too many pages and he wanted them condensed. He was more concerned with tax cuts for the wealthy and trying to placate Americans by providing a $300.00 dollar advance. Bush and his admin lied about WMD's to justify his personal vendetta and now 2500 soldiers are dead.

The proof that Bush lied is no stronger or weaker than that Clinton killed Vince Foster. A previous poster was correct when he mentioned that we lost 10x the number of guys in a matter of hours instead of three years. Bottom line every life is valuable and I'd rather fight the terrorists in Iraq than on my soil, not to mention depose a ruthless dictator in the process.

GWB did it to increase Dick's Haliburton stock? Do you and Cynthia McKinney hang out and chat how the President kept reading those 2nd graders that story because 'he already knew what was happening'? Is the world such a scary place that you find fantasy more reassuring than reality?

I think most pragmatic people realize the reason for going to war in Iraq (WMDs on the ground) may have been incorrect (they're all in Syria now?) but we're there and a country and their people would be worse off if we abandoned them, ask the Vietnamese how the last 30 years have been. I mean, ask the ones that survived the re-education camps and the boat lifts.

No, we don't have to wear patriotic ties. There is a standard black tie. There are 3 patriotic ties. There is some other black/wavy pattern thing that looks like you spilled something on it (to me). And there is an 'Adopt-a-Pilot' tie that looks like some 3rd grader drew it, which some third grader did. Probably another one or two out there.

So, SWA pilots have a choice of ties within the 'approved' list. Sorry, no Che Guevera ties or Hammer & Sickle emblems, although I know those are considered hipster in certain circles.
