I heard rumor last week that they'll announce it at the LAS Spirit Party.

If that's the case...wonder where it'll be??

Seriously, though. The DEN rumor makes the most sense to me. Start the domicile small and grow it. That way, they don't have to pay for as many crewmember's moves.

DEN is the SWA/FO's pick.

Have you pulled into C1 lately in LAS? Look to your right. It looks like office space to me. I here no more hotel res after MAR 07 in LAS.

rat-

Had a LAS overnight the other night and saw the construction. Took a closer look and it doesn't look like office/ lounge space. But then again I'm biased...

My guesses

Most Likely and too close to call--DEN or LAS

Close third--TPA (too close to MCO, but the east coast schedule could use it)

Long Shots
--SEA (with an announcement of more gates)
--BNA (With MORE maintenance, the reduction was just a ruse)
--PHL (not enough gates, too close to BWI, but east coast could use it)

I forgot to put these in

Long Shots

--MCI and STL

DEN....trying the concept of a 'micro-base'. With a small commitment to the new base, relocation costs would be minimal. If successful, may open other micro bases to help offset the hotel expenses. What do ya think????

People coming out of Dallas are saying it's between SMF, LAS, DEN, MCI, TPA BNA.
