Looks like those '08 hires were just about the amount of excess pilots that SWA had to carry through last year and pondered furloughing. I'm just trying to pass on the info that I get that's usally pretty good stuff. My friend who's a check airman pretty much says the same stuff my buddy who was a union muckity muck says. If you are on property, then good for you Moon-dog. If you aren't, it looks like it might be a few more years before they call you. FYI, it that is the case, he said that you'll probably get "re-interviewed" to see if you've had any major changes that would prohibit you from working at SWA and to see if you are still interested.

Let me tell you a secret, nay-sayer, what you get is rumor and speculation, just like everyone else. SWA does not let the cat out of the bag, especially to someone like you. And unLes you change your name, there are plenty that will do their best to keep you off the property.(I am guessing of course)

Yep, TC, GL, Scope, Bill, I think they are all training center guy's. They jump on every SW thread to get a rise out of you guy's.

Could this thread be hijacked in any more ways?

Definetly!! This is Flight Info, right?

We could talk about where Obama's birth certificate is, the big bang theory vs. evolution, gays in the military, never heard GoJets mentioned, General's stupid "over the pond journeys," proper age of retirement, E vs W at UScactus airways, how mainline pilots were to too proud to originally let "Small Jets" on the property, PFT, proper rotation tecnique, the proper postion to guarantee a boy, women in the military, men working at Hooters, porn hidden in the cockpit, de-ice technique, when to pop boots, when we're considered "qualified" to be a big jetliner pilot, 1-2-3 rule, ground zero getting a mosque, proper FI speling, Scope's torret's problem, how alpa has "helped" airlines in the last decade, paying controllers to help some airlines get off the ground quicker, leather v. blazer, military v. civ, setting the bar, lowering the bar, when to leave the bar, etc.
