Afterall, you know the pre-92 pilots at SWA are pushing for merger, probably the next 10 years of SWA hires as well

Wanta bet? This is too funny!

How about sick call? I would say EVERY NWA pilot likes the new sick call policy--AKA call in, and not give a note. How about new bases? How many FNWA guys now are based out West and down South? How about Greenslips? FNWA guys are cleaning up on that one. And it seems PLENTY of FNWA pilots voted for the joint contract. Whatever, dude.

Bye Bye--General Lee

You need to tip your dealer.

Not trying to doubt you bro, but I have read that...And all of the 8K and all the other hits on google that relate to the subject.....GH aquires AT. AT becomes AT inc. and is the surviving company.....SWA is the financier and that is about it.....

The key is that GH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SWA, which makes it subject to covenants in our CBA that require a merger of operations and seniority. It also prohibits selling off bits and pieces during that time.

Honestly, this IS the easiest SLI for an arbitrator:

Put the pre-1992 SWA pilots on the list. Ratio the rest. Done deal. No bump/no flush. All subsequent bid openings awarded using the new seniority list.

There you go.

I wouldn't be surprised. I think there would be some allowance for the fact that more SWA pilots will retire soon (to favor current SWA FO's) and some allowance for the 50 orders on the AAI side (to favor current AAI FO's).

At least you are not doing any SLI negotiating on a public forum.
