Get over yourself.

You have no idea what the word SCAB means. You throw it around like you're some big tough guy. Learn some history b4 you start throwing that word around. If it applies, fine, but it doesn't here, so move on.

I couldn't agree with you more!

Uh huh....And should you go to work for Frontier, you are directly helping management undercut fellow WN pilots by having less than Greyhound fares from Denver to Hartford, Oklahoma, Omaha, St. Louis, and Tulsa.
When you speak of undercutting fellow pilots, are you talking about flying similar airplanes with similar passengers who would otherwise fly on other carriers more expensive routes, thereby "stealing business?"
Or by "fellow pilots" are you talking about undercutting members of your company union to which Cardinal refers?

You mean like the SkyWest pilots undercutting ASA (during negotiations) by agreeing to fly 76 seat -900s for nearly 50 seat pay, thus stealing the airplanes we were supposed to get, then invading our hub with them, shamelessly? Isn't that kind of like stealing another pilot's job?

Jack London called anyone who under cut another a scab. If two vendors sold a product on a street and one intentionally sold for less he was a scab...

Jack London also promoted a socialists society. Hardly a role model.

Speaking of undercutting, I wonder what he'd have to say about buying your job and paying for training?

PCL any help here ?

I don't recall anyone saying that Jack London was their role model.

Does anyone remember what this thread was about...oh yeah, SkyWest saying no to ALPA, again.

His verse is a role model though for ALPA and some of the more rabid union pilots. London is a particularly bad author to associate unionism with. No matter what he wrote.

Speaking of asinine comments, since when did being a fan of a certain team make you more intelligent? If that were the case, then everyone who cheers for "The" Ohio State University should be in an asylum.

That said, I never claimed ALPA was "that great" it's members were "better pilots", or "better [people]". I simply pointed out that the SkyWest pilots just flipped off all of the unionized pilots in the industry. So get a life and feel free to post more. GO BLUE!

You realize speaking bad about us OSU fans is like saying I'm gonna hurt the president over the phone, little men show up at your house and make you think some weird thoughts..

Skywest pilots do not need any ALPA merger policy in the way of their next acquisition. Skywest has $500M ready to use. ALPA would just mess it up.

Screw ALPA before they screw you. Ask the US Air guys what they think of ALPA merger policy.
