People say checking in because they know it pisses off others. Don't let it affect you and maybe you'll stop hearing it

UFly Mike. Ever since I have been using one I am questioned at least once a trip. Great headset for me but the mike isnt all that powerful.

It is interesting that we are only complaining about the pilots. It seems that the controllers (who talk on the radio far more than pilots do) have learned how to talk so that people aren't continually asking them to repeat themselves.

One other thought: I think that there may be a difference in how the side tone is adjusted in different jets, making the pilot hear her own voice softer or louder depending on how it is set. If your own voice is blaring in your ear you will tend to speak in more subdued tones.

Wait, what? I thought Skywest was the best regional airline in the world and everything was perfect?
The antidote to KoolAid is reality and its a biaotch. Skywest isn't the worst but is making great strides to get there.
