Now, I can pass this on so I didn't seem like I was threatening. But.... There are mainline guys that that don't care for what the SKW pilot has done in regards to union. Sorta like how Delta doesn't hire Comair pilots. Same thing may be coming down the pike for SKW pilots. Hasn't happened yet but.....

A real shame! No ALPA at Skywest, but they all want to go work for Delta, Continental, Northwest, United, or some other ALPA carrier. Oh the Irony!

SKYW pilots may ask, "Why do I need ALPA? Our contract is just as good as ASA's." While this may be true I think it is important to note SKYW's "policy manual" is on the decline and there is nothing they can do about it without representation. On the other hand ASA's contracts continue to raise the bar.

Maybe you should deal with the facts, and not lies...At my seniority the ASA TA pays them almost $6 an hour more on the CRJ200 and they pay about $15 an hour more on the 700!

They also got the same work rules we have in the TA, so yeah the much higher hourly rate does matter...and before you open your uninformed mouth again, yes they got the same bonus we have in their TA too! Maybe if you spent less time drinking koolaid you'd have more time to get informed about what's really going on!
