If you are an opportunistic person with a spinning moral compass, who would see a bleeding body in a ditch as a good place to look for a wallet to pick, hey, this could be your big chance to take someone else's job for less money.
ASA guys - what do you say we sign up for the "Open House" and show up in uniform with signs and the press in tow? Lets expose Lorenzo for who he is - I mean Atkin.

Rest assured, your management will whittle away your "gentleman's agreement" after they have lured you all into submission that a union is not needed on property to have growth. I hope you guys at Skywest can open your eyes and see this reality. You will be next.
I don't want those airframes.jehtplane said:How often have you heard a skywest pilot say we don't want those airframes.

Everyone knows that when SkyWest management is finished A$$ Raping hard working pilots trying to make a difference over at ASA by standing up for this profession they are going to try the same with their own pilot group. These guys are no better than criminals trying to swindle little old ladies out of their retirement money.

Maybe during that mental health break he desperately needs he can catch up on some reading, perhaps a copy of Flying the Line. Then maybe he'd understand how idiotic the Lorenzo comparisons are. During that time off manybe Fins can have a beer or two with an old Eastern pilot or two that could spell it out for him.
I'm not sure how long Fins has been at ASA but I wonder if he started during the PFT days. Maybe someone should have been picketing those interviews. I wonder how many tears Fin shed for the DAL pilots as they were furloughed and DCI grew?
Wow, how noble of you. I'm not sure I understand the "pillow biting crew" comment (I know what the phrase means). Be careful making statements like this as people have been pulled out of new hire groundschool for comments made on this site. We have our problems at SKW but rest assured I have never been "a$$raped".JetDriver69ing said:I am not planning on getting hired at SkyWest so I can just take it up the A$$ from Jerry Atkin and the rest of his St. George pillow biting crew either. I just hope I am lucky enough to get hired so that I can be a part of the solution by helping SkyWest vote in a union so both ASA and SkyWest together can help stop the race to the bottom!

BigLebowski said:This is very interesting. Last week I got slammed from an ASA pilot because I was able to prove W2 wise with our benefits that we make more than you guys...not even mentioning our work rules and what a great place this is to be.
Let me make something clear to ASA...Skywest bought you. Just like American bought TWA, we owe you nothing. If Atkin didn't buy you you would probably be in a worse position than Comair.
Also, I find it interesting that you guys are thinking of these protesting our open houses...feeling that we should be interviewing you. Hey nothing is stopping you from going to an interview here. But I promise if you come in to the interview with the attittude you have now, you don't stand a chance. Wait nevermind, you have to have over 1000 hours to apply at SkyW, not like half of you 500 hour wonders at ASA.
I'm really tired of the ASA pilots bashing the SkyW pilot group. Atkin offered you several options to get those 900's and you refused all of them. BTW the 900's will be configured for 70 and 76 seats. I have friends over at ASA and I feel for them because you ALPA Nazi's are completely bringing down the morale of the pilot group. Rather than whining about everything why don't you come together, act like a professional and settle things civily.
Dont' thank me son, thank ALPA

You are right the ASA pilot group did not accept the proposals to get the aircraft because the ASA pilot group is not a bunch of pussies like you. And no ASA pilot is thinking about protesting your open house because they want an interview with Skywest, it is because Skywest is hiring to replace ASA's pilot's. And yes the ASA pilot's were told by management that they were getting the 76 seaters when the SLC base closes ,of course that was before talks broke down, when ASA's leaders told them to shove their proposal up their arse, you know the proposal to get ASA 70 seat pay down to yours. I would certainly hope that every Skywest pilot does not think like you do, and I am sure they do not.

JetDriver69ing said:Hey guys, I don’t mean to interrupt the mud slinging, but I am still wondering if anyone knows how this whole open house works. What should I expect and what should I wear? Also, on a side note, I know you guys at ASA are pissed about the whole situation with management taking airplanes (example: SLC) and then using future aircraft deliveries as nothing more than bargaining chips to play two separate and VERY PROFITABLE airline pilot groups against each other.
