That makes perfect sense, and I favor that quote btw,
"With all engines inoperative the flight characteristics of the airplane are not severely handicapped..." - EMB-120 Emergency Procedures QRH.

Is it advisable to apply to SKW w/ anything less than hiring mins

I'd say not to do it. They've got plenty of people to inteview with mins and more, and I always thought people who did that would fail one of the first tests of the interview: the ability to read and follow directions.

Besides, I've never heard of anyone getting on with less than published mins.

He interviewed on the 6th and he has already heard back?
He hasn't been formally offered the job yet, but he's been hired via an inside source.

Hiring

SKYW will NOT hire below minimums.

Also, friend of mine was offered the job last month at the end of the interview, but most receive a FedEx package in the mail (1-2 weeks).

All classes cancelled indefinetly thru 1st of year, but crossing my fingers! They are still conducting interviews into the pool (of which I currently reside).

The same thing happend when United filled CH11. A 2 month slowdown until United decided what they wanted done, then it was full speed ahead. I would hope this is the same. Just a slow down until Delta gets it's plan together and then full speed.:0
