I don't remember exactly what my fiancee's W2 was but it was more than first year pay at UPS.
Hey gang. Just curious if anyone would like to share their first year w-2 numbers from Skywest.
Also, what kind of premiums, if any, do they have for extra flying etc.
If you don't feel comfortable posting a solid number, on average, how many hours doyou log a month (jet or turbo)
Cheers
Wow, I cant believe that a first year FO at UPS makes less then 13K a year.I was on reserve my first year at SKYW and probably pulled in about $13K. I remember it was less than what I made as a CFI. My paychecks were right around $400 (take-home).
The second year was MUCH better, especially as a line-holder.
Why do you people keep making these tacky posts about "W-2's" or "tell me your last paycheck." It is the most ridiculous, tacky, and unprofessional thing I've seen. There is a payscale at www.airlinepilotcentral.com, the payscales are there for anyones eyes, why do you feel the need to start a "My W-2 vs. Your W-2" thread? Because it turns into a "my airline is better than yours" bitchfest.
Get a life.

I think it is because that site only provides hourly rates, it doesn't provide any insight on 'soft time.'

I do care what the hourly rate is.I personally don't care what the hourly rate is. I care what the end of year earnings are. I don't know about you, but I need to work in order to live, so this is my life.
My question is how much more does a 70 seat CRJ CPT make versus a 50 seat CPT?
$8-25/hour more depending on years of service. Maybe you should have read the thread a little more closely and used the link provided in a previous post to www.airlinepilotcentral.com

I don't know of many UPS pilots posting there W-2 information on flightinfo. In fact.... I just did a search and came up with nothing... so that guy is comparing his fiancee's pay without knowing the "soft time"
.
I would be happy to provide a W-2 figure for ASA, but as usual we don't have them yet.........
Incidentally, does anybody know what a W-1 is? Or a W-3 for that matter? There's a W-2 and a W-4, so obviously these other forms exist...... anyone???
Hey Einstein....first of all, I am not a "guy". My fiancee's take home (with per diem and higher than guarantee credit which I include in total pay) was around $900 every two weeks. My take home from UPS was $580 every two weeks. So please tell me, isn't $580 less than $900? In my book of math, it is. If you want me to post my W2 info, I will. I don't see what the big deal is with telling someone how much you make or asking someone for that matter. Who gives a $hit?
