Just curious in the fact that I had a Skybus Captain jumpseat in the back from CLT to Hilton Head.

Had mx on the aircraft and didn't have time to really talk to him while boarding.

Whats everyones take on allowing Skybus jumpseaters?

Not on my plane. I don't think they're on the list anyhow.

I'm just a right-seater now, so I don't make the call, but I've heard several CAs say that they wouldn't allow them on.

Give me a break, he's (she's) just another pilot trying to get to and from work. The jumpseat should NEVER as a political football. Additionally, what better way to get your thoughts across to this person (Skybus J/S rider) than to have him (her) locked into the J/S seat and having to listen to your position?

Since all the major airlines have lowered the bar by taking pay cuts and giving up QOL issues I am no longer going to allow them to sit in my jump seat. Come on people, it's a job.

BS. These individuals have done some irreparable damage to the industry as a whole by redefining the bottom, accepting the same rate that MESA pais to their captains (which is low to begin with) to fly an Airbus is no better than to cross a picket line or to lie about your hours on your logbook. These individuals are bottom feeders that accepted this position because 1) SJS to create resume and move on 2) they are SCABS and this is the only job they can get 3) They have checkered past and this is the only POS job they can get. They did not consider the repercussions of what this will do to the future earnings of your sons and daughters if they decide to venture into this career and the long term effects that setting a new industry low will have. They don't deserve ANY common curtesy

did he have that ridiculous Jungle uniform on?

If he was a captain, Did you let him know that you make more than him flying a 75% seats?

No reciprocal agreement = no boarding. They aren't my rules but they are the rules and they exist to limit fraud and encourage mutual participation.

Consider this...If you showed up at a SkyBus gate and told the gate agent that you think you should get a seat for free what do you think they would tell you? If SkyBus guys want to jumpseat on my airplane then they can designate a representative to coordinate the deal with our Jumpseat Committee.

Stop right there!

Remember, they run a skeleton crew -- there won't be any gate agents until right at boarding time.

Can you check in for the jumpseat on their web site?

SCABS'? What picket line did they cross? Answer - none.

Checkered past, how do you know? Answer - You don't.

Don't deserve common courtesy? Answer - nor do you.

You have no idea why these guys decided to work at Skybus. Fact is it's none of your business. Try taking the high road sometime, show a little grace.

If they had a reciprocal agreement and if I had a say..he gets a ride.
