If I weren't in a position where I have paid too many "dues" and had been screwed more times than i can count by people like yourself I would have upgraded long ago and wouldn't be in a position where I would even have to consider a lateral move and come to a forum to find out about another airline I know nothing about.

If you are at eagle/horizon you knew it was a long upgrade so shut up. Everyone is hiring with 1-2yr upgrades. I'm guessing You have attempted to upgrade and blew it but blame others for your failure.

Hey Av,

I share a crew room with the GoJet guys, and ride to and from home on them all the time.

Nobody seems to be happy, ever. I don't know why, honestly I don't care. In life we find ourselves in situations of our own choosing. They have always been at least accommodating to me....sometimes barely at that, but at the end of the day...give me a lift and I have nothing to whine about.

As for your entitlement problem. At no point, does any amount of time in the right seat entitle you to an upgrade, and if you believe that this is the case, I'm sorry but you are dead wrong. An upgrade is predicated upon leadership and communication, which thus far, you have shown little of.

Give Jack some crap though, I'm pretty sure he still frosts his hair.....Jack...retort?

People will forget about Gojet Airlines like we have done in the past.
scabs? where are they now? hum..scabs from Easterns went to Valuejet witch is now Airtran. Oh wait, now Airtran's pilot group want to sick to management!!!!
Same at Pinnacle. All those gulstream pilots who paid their way in with 500hrs in a shinny jet. Now they want to strike!!!priceless

The funniest part is those two pilots group are pointing out the finger at Gojet.
As long as you fly a regional jet you are under cutting your peers.
I remenber two years ago when Pinnacle Airlines was the worst Airlines, (about 3 accidents in a year, those pilots can't fly..)Now, we are praising them for standing for themselve( yeah righ!!) they should thank management.
These board always need something to talk about. Now it's Gojet.

You really got lost in all this didn't you? Ever cross your mind to think that someone might have been at ACA and then had to start over or have you not been in the game long enough to know about that one. That's the way the cards fall sometimes. I ask about another airline and you presume I am headed there and threaten to come over and tell me all about it and I'm the tough guy? Good pilots make calls when they listen at both sides of the story. If the man decides to fly for them or not, I can care less. It doesn't matter which regional you r flying for anyway; regional jets should be flown by mainline pilots. If you had half of a brain you should know that. Gojet is not lowing any standards. Standards were lowered by regionals flying mainline routes way before Gojet. why do you think mainline lost pay and benefits?

They also very friendly efficient and treat will with respect. Trust me I've been in several interviews and GoJet was so far the best experience.
People here should realize that business is business United open up TED to get rid of pension plans and old union rules. Delat did the same with Song yet both Majors still around and their pilots mature enough to not be bashing about the split (at least on the name). TSA had contracts and by some clauses they could not operate bigger planes or would conflict and loose some customers. So they opt for a new company and seize the ocasion to get out of ALPA and move over to Teamsters.
Which I honestly think was a right move as ALPA on my view only cares about the majors and nationals which bring lots of money to ALPA but is careless about regionals. Could not be different as would be a conflict of interests if ALPA give any attention to the regionals.
Bottom line is whoever is out there thinking about a career on a nice regional instead of an FO career at some major should think about Gojet they are very nice people with nice contract and nice planes.
