Funny, the POTUS is scheduled in Miami tomorrow along with a 30NM TFR, effectively shutting down South Florida's aviation economy for the afternoon.

Really ??? I have been in the same airspace with AF-1 many times in the last 25+ years and once the POTUS is off the airport property, it all goes back to normal ops.

And...in PHX last year, AF-1 landed on the N side of the airport and traffic on the S side was not disrupted at all....my hat is off to the guy who planned that one.

No matter who the PResident is...he/she will travel and his/her spouse and kids will travel with the President and will take vacations and will use AF aircraft to travel on and will use the same level of security....thats just the way it is.

Don't like it ?...write, call and visit your congressman to make your point.
