No matter what you do theres always a pilot group saying look at that flying over thurrrrre! There are tards about to strike lets go get that flying cause those tards wont make a difference anyway ALA ASA.

What about an alter-ego clause?

Average regional upgrade 3-5 years and another 2-3 to get enough PIC just to have a chance of getting noticed, but probably still not enough. We had a no alter ego clause and it did not work for us at TSA.

Doesnt have to be citation shares....could be anywhere. The point is that no one thinks that there is anything wrong with taking a regional airline job. They all get paid the same....fly the same equipment and are a great experience builder.

The point is that we all take a regional job to build our experience thus making us better pilots and more competitive in the job market.

Those of you that have chosen your career at a regional are there obviously for more than pay reasons so I cant help but wonder why a pay issue is why you would bash other unemployed pilots for taking a job that allows them to make a small living and better there future for themselves and their families.

Maybe you should try try being more compassionate for others that are unable to take jobs that pay the awsome wage that you get at trans states and be happy that they are able to get any job at all....after all, this is what this great country is about.

You have yet to show one intelligent reason to say no to gj. I was told by Net Jets after a friend walked in my resume that I needed 121 experience because that is the flying backround that they are looking for. I dont remember it saying anything about ALPA being required.

Your getting your experience....why so bitter that others are getting their's?

Going Nowhere? A friend of my dads is a Chief Pilot at Continental....and it was his son that got me on at gj.....so why would i listen to a bitter RJ pilot over a Mainline Chief Pilot.

Do you really think you DESERVE a PT121 job after a year of freight if that?!

Used to be a time when 2000 mins were normal...........CFI/II/MEI. It is called EXPERIENCE.........yeah the industry doesn't support that theory right now so there are HUNDREDS of RJs out there with the line CPT being the IOE trainer without the pay that a checkairmen gets.

Ok.....let's fast forward to now- what a 1000 total sometimes less and you are on with a good regional? What makes you think any less than that makes you ENTITLED to a job. You took the bait and will pay in the long run.........it's a fact. IF you would have waited a 6 months I bet you would have the time to get on with a legitimate carrier and not slit the throats of your "sister" company.

People are watching to see the outcome....MGT AND Pilots. Your side would be the MGT side that wants to "streamline" costs until labor is at poverty level. Ours is a whole different world - one that believes that a wage should be fair and equitable with the services being performed. Not alot of people want to stay at this level forever..........thank yourself because you helped make that a reality in the long run for some pilots down the road.

You will NEVER get it until one day you think to yourself......man I have plenty of time in that SJS 70 seater. Why is nobody calling me for an interview.

Even better yet.....being at that "dream" job interview and you see a pilot that asks you to explain the G0Jet situation--------it may be me --------it may be somebody else but we WILL NEVER forget what you did to our professional lives in the short term.

I am sure your Dad is proud...you have just drug your name through the mud-------something that just sticks forever.

Its not about greed, its about being paid what your worth. TSA was making money just like every other regional out there. We have all been through alot to get where we are. I have been in this industry for over 12 years now and seen it go down down down. All flights are full. The true Greed is the Corporate greed at TSA. Basically they wanted to keep a 15% profit instead of a 13%profit. Look at the equipment you operate, look at the service that is provided, and how can you say that anyone should be willing to fly for any less than they are.

Not everyone has a little butt buddy friends dad who is the Chief at Continental. Many people are at the regionals for a while, do the math.

TSA pilots spent years building their airline. Their management created an alter ego company to whipsaw them and drive down their future career. After years of hard work making profits for TSA, g0jet was created and staffed with scumbags like you.

Go try your alter ego game at Fedex. Tell them that you will fly the A380 for less and start with zero seniority. How do you think that will go over?

This is an extremely small world when it comes to aviation. Believe it or not most of the pilots out there are not on this forum and most of them are against you and all the other Go----s piles. Your vision of you leaving in a year for greener pastures are inaccurate.

Let me ask you this. Is it possible that maybe some of the TSA guys will move on to a better place? I think so. Is it possible that maybe at some other (better companies) have employees that a friend,son, daughter, nephew was screwed by GJ? I think so. All it will take is one person to keep you from getting that dream job. But what do you care, after all your "living the dream" where your at.

So maybe some crusty old farts who are at the majors now, that are going to retire in a few years don't know about you guys and don't care. Its your brothers to your left and right that will be making up those positions in the future. Unless every descent airline, fractional,flight school, and pizza place are made up of ex GJ, your in for a rude awakening down the road. 90%of the regional pilots are against your company and what you stand for.

That is how this industry works
 
I have a very good friend at CS right now and they have the scab list and GJ is not the only airline with names on it from what he says. So good luck going to CS, your gonna need it.

I commute to work everyweek and I must be lucky enough to only deal with that 10%.
