I commute to work everyweek and I must be lucky enough to only deal with that 10%.

Just curious, who do you commute on?

A friend of mine at SkyWest just told me they kicked a g0jet guy off the plane who signed up for the jumpseat and did not check in with the captain. His jumpseat form said UNITED on it. Apparently, this is what the TSH is telling them to do.

Who does GJ officially have JS agreements on?

Dear Subin30,
in response to your no vote, and the fact that Gj was started before your vote, surley it was clear then that someone had to fly those planes. If my dad bought a new car I new I was going to drive it. What the industry has evolved to is nothing new. When Pan Am, Eastern, Braniff, TWA (and most recently United and Delta seperaetly but not equally) suffered their fate everyone looking outside-in were licking their chops to see who would pick-up the spoils. There is no one already born or to come that would stand idly by after your no vote. You were offered the flying meaning TSAH wanted you to fly those planes. Like ALPA you decided no to "those" jets. ALPA mainline said no to small jets and they are paying dearly today for that mindless decission. Maybe ALPA can claim their (furloughed) rank and file are flying those jets at the regional level. Now you are left with negotiating a single list with GJ. If history is any indication, you still lose, and all because of a NO vote that should have been an easy YES vote. You can bash GJ til Pan Am, Eastern, etc. rise from the grave but from those who know better:" Frankly my dear we don't give a dam".
P.S. Nothing personal.

How come none of you go Jetters are offering advice on aviationinterviews.com like every other company in the world?

Oh that site is probably ran by one of the very select few who dislike you.

You guys are all idiots! There shouldn't have been a vote anyway. The flying should have been current pay rates, Without and do mean without a 3 year contract extension. Why is it we are giving up something to get something. Hmmmm! So again voting no or yes is irrelavent. Why can't you people get it through yours heads. The company should have done it that way. WHIPSAW! Get it through your heads

PSS Oh yeah RSSpilot go fly a A380 for sixty bucks and hour you w h o r e. You probably pay for sex to you chump

My buddy runs aviation interviews. Personally told him not to let GJ post. He agreed with a smile. But you guys are in the right I forgot. Maybe when I get furloughed again somebody can walk my resume into GJ. Anybody's daddy I can talk to, help me out. What a joke

WOW.....you casually threw Eastern...Braniff...and.....Pan Am pretty casually - be careful.

You should try reviewing what you wrote before you hit submit.
"If my dad bought a new car I new I was going to drive it."
Your spelling is off, your tense is wrong and it doesn't even make any sense.

I was just talking to a guy that works for us and he knows him too. He sounds like a good guy just wanting to help out his fellow pilots. It only makes sense to not allow GJ since they don't give a shiiite about their fellow pilots.

Hey Jollyman if ya' wanna yell at some sucka about deir grammar. Ah be baaad... Yell at me. Sucka'ally ah' dink dat no matta' whut ah' say ya' gots'ta all dig de message. Dat message be Ho Jet pilots drink deir own pee.

Thank you dogtown,
yes my spelling was wrong and tense could be better. You would never understand due to your lack of time on earth. But as I was once told when I was your age and my first day at DAL : " son you got the world by the tail....but you are guaranteed at least one furlough...plan on it". Please undeerstand, I sincerely sympathize with the TSA furloughees but only to the extent that they understand how they got there. When furloughed @ DAL we were not given the option to go to our alter ego. Good luck and no matter what you do in the future choose wisely. Ps. I do try to be accurate in my speech and writing.

hip hip horray for TSA management. Time to hold unions hostage a bit just like they help management hostage back in the glory days.

You won't be saying that when G0Jet starts replacing Comair's 70 seaters for Delta.

hey we at comair be very competitive as soon as the F/As are dealt with. We will have taken our paycuts. The only way to go from there is up baby up! Seriously though unions have truly reached the out of control mark. You would think they have learned their lessons from whats happened at mainline but they are too shortsighted to learn. Remember ALPA has NO VISION whatsoever.

Yeah, you are a pilot. Sure.

I am a pilot. A pilot who is sick and tired of unions and the vocal minority trying to run my life. My MEC does not speak for me I speak for myself.

Its not the national union thats powerful at your company, Its all about your fellow coworkers sticking together when the stuff hits the fan. When they throw or try to throw a little too much crap at you, you have leverage. With a union you have a strike fund. Pretty much the only thing ALPA is really good for.

Its that power that we use to tell the company to take a hike when they bring up crap like B scales, concessions, work rule changes, etc...

union dues suck but I believe its a necessary evil.

As a paid lobbyist, you speak for whomever pays your bills.

Comair pays my bills. Just a pilot tired of other pilots being drama queens. Seriously I have never found a bigger group of whiners in my life. TSA furloughs give me a holla. Ill see if I can set you up with people I know on broadway. They are currently filling roles for dramatic plays. You'd be perfect.

You're script rings false.

Throw in a few more "holla" and "we'll be livin it up!". Its just not genuine. Sorry.

But I don't think you have to be somewhere 7 years.

Let's see, hired in 99, 9/11 furloughs etc, etc, people are barely starting to move up again. 1999-2006

THAT MAKES 7 YRS IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.

People were in this profession before you, ya know.

No dude,

you have to take another paycut. You're still way up there. Get the ball rollin. You have to be cheaper than GJ. But don't worry, you'll be livin it up in your condo on your 7 days of guarantee.

Wow what an unbelievably low-life post.

The rich get richer right? If you truly are a pilot you'll be on the streets one day too. We aren't the rich.
