The stupidty of people is amazing some times.

More likely Doug figures he doesn't want this thing losing any momentum or looking contentious to the Creditors or Congress....who'd he rather piss off, 3000 east pilots who control the union or 1500 west who are essentially un-represented? Parker, APA, & USAPA agree to craft a do-over AWA/AMR/AAA DOH list with fences and invite the west to take them to court. PHX becomes the next STL.
