What are the chances of being placed on the Q400 as a new hire with Republic Airways if you are offered employment ?

A friend of mine there (yes, yes I do have friends) says the Q400 is very short on crews, and he stated a referral fee for that plane was $1000 vs $500 for the E175 or another jet. I think he stated they have been double Captaining that fleet because of the lack of FOs on it. Call them up and ask.

Your "friend" from APC or some other internet chat board? You think he stated?
You are so full of dog droppings!

Referral fee is the same for all aircraft fleets.

Less q400 classes than previously as staffing is better...I said better, not ideal or complete.

That said, if offered a job, you will be given a choice of classes. Yours to accept or decline as you see fit.

You know this because you work at Republic, not Delta. Hence you also trolling the regional boards constantly.

Easy easy!! He's still a little shaken after landing the 76 on the taxiway in ATL!!

Tell us, General, how come if you "love aviation" so much that you must troll constantly, you're not on apc dot com, the only serious forum with serious conversations. Oh I know, you're a booger eater employed by this site to increase its hits. Duh.

Box, you are a pure Moron. I give accurate info because I do have friends, but not Moron friends like you. I try to help people, and you add zero. You are a big zero yourself. Bye!

I heard that wasn't a guy, so actually Box qualifies. Oh wait, she says she is on the 88, meaning the CRJ....

Troll? I give accurate info to try to help. You post for some reason on the Majors section, even though you are an Expressjet FO. See, you do it too, but of course you add zero to every topic. What a moron!

Yes PBR, he did state that, along with $1000 referral for Dash FOs, and $500 for jet FOs at the end of last year. Sounds like the other guy said the referral fee is now the same, but it wasn't last year.

You really sound miserable, especially in that other thread about SKW reserve. I'm getting concerned. Do you need counseling? Good luck pal, better times at SKW "MAY" be around the corner.... Good times....

What are the chances of being placed on the Q400 as a new hire with Republic Airways if you are offered employment ?

I would say, as of TODAY, it's a crap shoot on where you get placed. Just got a letter from the CEO saying RAH is shrinking/eliminating the E140 United, and American Flying. A rapid process he says, and moving people to the "EJET" due to lack of pilots coming through the front doors of Headquarters. Just a heads up for ya.

You're kidding right? About the same as scoring with the ugliest fat chick in the bar.....

My friend there today said those pilots on the E140/145s being parked will be used to fill the incoming E175s for AA. He also stated the referral fee for all planes is $1100, the signing bonus is $5000, and UAL will allow them to have 4 more Q400s.

Good. That way they can park more on the overflow ramp in addition to the two airplanes you see parked there all the time.
