I am comtemplating a switch from a regional to a fractional; would appreciate some general info!

What are the schedules like for new hire f/o's for the companys like CS,FO,NJ,FJ..etc?
Is training paid for (ie..hotel)?
Work environment?
Long term financial stability?
Do they like to hire 121 folks?

Thanks and Good Day.

Just started at NetJets, half of my indoc class was Indi Air pilots about to be furloughed or on furlough so yes they like 121 folks.

Their mins are 2500 TT and ATP ticket.

They buy your airline ticket to the interview and put you up in the Hilton.

You are paid from day one at the 18 day reserve salary $46,286., NJA pays for your hotel during training and pay you 41 bucks a day perdium.

You will be on the 18 day reserve schedule until you start IOE and than some until you can hold the 15 day 7 & 7 schedule if you bid it, your pay will decrease to $39,000. on the 7 & 7 schedule the first year and increases about 2K each year.

If you don't bid the 7 & 7 than you will stay on the 18 day sched and continue making $46,286. with annual salary increases of about $2,300. each year.

The 18 day sched is a max of 7 days on, at least 4 days off with a 7 day tour and at least 3 days off with 6 or less days on.

Wow. That pay is awesome compared to regionals.

But I need to get a regional FO job first.

Cant wait for the opportunity to fly right seat in an RJ.

you don't have the time. Don't bother 2500tt is the insurance requirements. Don't bother otherwise.

have you even looked at the CS website? If you had you would have found this as easily as I did.

First Officer
  • ATP AMEL & FAA First Class Medical
  • 2000 Total Time
  • 1500 Multiengine (fixed-wing)
  • 750 PIC
  • 500 Turbine
  • Currency: 200 Hrs. last 12 Months

Yes I found that but I was asking about what is competitive not the minimums. Thanks again and have a good day.

How hard are NJ and CS on having the ATP? I know everyone is going to tell me to get it, but it is just a question. I ask because I do not meet the 23 yr requirement.

At NJA it's a must have requirement.
