Is this an open house? or do i need to register if I would like to go? I've only been to one open house, at jetblue. Suit and Tie? Anything else I should bring?
It would be a good opportunity to explore but only if you have time above 30 tons.
that rule is still in effect.
Say hello to captain Keating..... he was one of the favorites around here before he retired.:beer:Open House....just show up....I would wear a suit and tie. You will be meeting those who will possibly be interviewing you. Bring your flight times. Also, if you have filled out the online application at www.emiratesgroupcareers.com, bring your application number. Resumes are not necessary as you will fill out an expression of interest form but you can bring them if you like.

Varmint for the win! What an awesome reply. Thanks for the accurate rebuttal. To me Emirates is a very good opportunity because on top of very good pay you have no mortage or rent payment, which is most people's largest monthly expense. How does the other cost of living stuff (food, gas etc) compare with the US?
Went to the open house today, was told my biz jet experience that weighs 37.5 tons wasn't going to cut mustard. All because it wasn't an "airliner". oh well maybe get them next time.

Did you meet this requirement:
- A minimum of 4000 hours total flying time (may include 25% P3 or FEO time to a max of 500 hr).
- A minimum of 2000 hours multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft (P3 time cannot be used for this requirement).
OR: (The reduced minimums for guys with commercial aircraft experience. I guess they don't classify biz jets as commercial aircraft):
- A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time on a modern commercial multi-engine, multi-crew aircraft jet (P3 time cannot be used for this requirement).
