Heads up!

There are effectively no rules for reserves now. So Many loopholes and opportunities for manipulation.

The only rules we have are the FAR's and those are being bent everyday.

We are crediting over 100 hours now on reserve. If you think it is easy then I suggest you stand a post.


I know it's legal but heads up! Cold calls are going out again from scheduling to unsuspecting schmucks (for various types of assignments) dumb enough to answer on off days. Check that caller id!

OK Colonel Jessep, go easy now. He's only baiting you into confessing to ordering the code red.
 
Many regional pilots dont have to cower behind their caller ID. Many have the right to refuse JM. We need to address this in the next contract.
 
I don't care if they do or not...if you're going to get extended into 6 days, start with my 4 day and get a 2 day to go with it and let me have the 3 day and another day off. Seniority SHOULD have its privileges

Yes it should....

Unfortunately, there will be a lot more of this garbage in our future once PBS kicks in. Everyone will get a more-or-less equal serving of suck.
