I'm wanting to hear how big the next batch is. Heard it took 9 to fill a class of 6 recalls.

You heard correct. My guess is a slow stream of recalls that will ramp up more in the summer to get ready for the busy season and to cover for increasing attrition.

Billybob I hope your friend is wrong but training log-jams are sure to be an early obstacle to a speedy return. Not only will the company be dealing with recalls but also transition and upgrade training that they may not have anticipated. However, once the training staff is in place history has shown this company can train a lot of folks very quickly.

I don't have any insight into FSI Columbus but maybe their staffing levels will be the best indication of recall rates. Do we have any CMH FSI insiders on FI?

I know that things are fluid in aviation, but 72 recalls for the year is pitiful. End of story.

And it's the attitude they have towards pilots that will make this come true faster than anything else. When you go to recurrent, you get the impression that they think the place would run a helluva lot better if they could get rid of the pilots and their contract and just keep Sales, Owner Service and IT.

Which is exactly what they want. This mentality is no different than a regional when "you've stayed past your welcome with more than 3 years seniority".

Yeah, WTF is the deal with the number of analysts? I think the ratio of staff people to worker bees is excessive. I'd like to see it benchmarked to any companies even close in size and scope. Let alone fractionals.
