Pay is minimum guarantee (16 hrs a week or whatever it works out to be...they work on a 35 day bid period, so their "monthly guarantee" is actually a 35 day guarantee. I think it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 92 hours for lineholders...maybe 86 for reserve). So this is what you will be paid during training. Minimum guarantee. And you are paid Dash-8-200 pay regardless of what equipment you are on until you have reached the seniority level of the next aircraft pay scale. That part is a little complicated to explain, but the bottom line is as a new hire you are assigned your aircraft and domicile, and you are paid -200 pay. Hopefully, this will help with your planning.

just bumping the latest trans states thread to the top...

This certainly HAS turned into a Trans States thread considering all the replies and interest.

Like any carrier, they DO make exceptions for experience and competence.

Although the requirements posted above are higher than what they request on their web site, they ARE what QX considers "competitive".

I might also stress they want good solid records on IFR and multi time.

Good Luck

What exactly do you mean when you say good solid records on IFR and multi time?
