Johnson- does your CEO work under a contract that clearly defines what his job is?
The what kind of plane and how many I believe IS a mgmt function- what is a union function is the scope of their contract with their pilots- IMO- delta ought to be able to order as many damn RJs as they want- as long as dalpa's flying them. that is business on every level, not just labor groups-. Remember there are two sides to the labor curve
outsourcing is something all alpa pilots would like to have back with their 20/20 vision. I'm more critical of dalpa bc they voted to release scope in 2006, out of bankruptcy, in a pure greed move- when they knew the damage theyre leadership on outsourcing had already done to the airline career.
The poster above had it correct- bill's under the impression that we all ought to sacrifice for him- what he fails to mention is his own pilot groups complicity. Typical boomer. That and he has a lot of pride and just can't believe how far the delta pilot has fallen in the eyes if the rest of the industry. They're sellouts and have been for some time.
VA- you guys just keep competing- I'll be at southwest competing against you- but I like the challenge- little socialist pricks like bill just want us to lay down so they can eat and drink grapes and get fat
